We are located on 10 acres in Idaho Falls, Idaho and havehad miniatures since 2001, although I've been around horses most of my life. Everyone has a story about how they fell in love with the miniature horse, here's mine. I was a volunteer side walker for a therapeutic riding program horse rescue in Southern California where I grew up. They had this real sweet black and white miniature pinto gelding. He didn't get out much since the focus was on the riding horses. So I became his little care taker. He was actually the retired mascot of the Denver Bronco's and his name was T.D. for "Touchdown". The team had to retire him because he kept getting loose and running across the field during games!! I spent a lot of time with him picking his feet, grooming him, and running around the grounds with him. There was just something about him that was special and I've found the same joy in all my miniature horses.Quality and conformation will always be our top focus but along with that I've had an absolute fascination with the overo pattern for as long as I can remember. I have a big APHA gelding that is a Frame overo and hope to have miniatures coloredjust like him someday.We have four exquisite stallions in our small herd, our overo Senior herd sire Reeces Phantom Hawk who is a multiple Supreme Champion in halter, Central Regional Champion Classic pleasure driving, and National and World Top Ten in Classic Pleasure Driving! With the passing of our beloved Hunt House Farms Lucky Bucky, his beautiful frame overo son and up and coming stallion Tapestry's Luck Of The Draw "Picasso" has been doing his father proud in the show ring. We will be very excited for his first foal crop anticipated in 2020. We recently welcomed LDS Smooth Operator, a silver bay dun son of Alliance Sweet Talking Guy and out of a Top Cat daughter, and who is a National Champion in halter! Our "unsung hero" FCA Starbreakers Rocket Man most certainly should not be left out. With very limited breedings, he has blessed us with 2 beautiful splash fillies that are just breathtaking.
