Read more About The CourseProvince Lake Golf is a beautiful blend of the best of classic golf with outstanding modern design. The traditional and the new have been combined to create a wonderful playing experience for today's golfers. Along the way you'll also be treated to spectacular views of the lake, and occasionally you'll spot the wildlife that make their home in the area. The front nine, built in 1918, was designed by Lawrence Van Etten, who laid out a number of courses on the East Coast, including the Deal Country Club in New Jersey and the original Wykagyl Course in New Rochelle, N.Y. In 1988, a second nine was built, which was designed by renowned East Coast architect Brian Silva. Silva's work includes the Captains Course at Cape Cod National in Brewster, MA, Black Creek Club, in Chattanooga, TN, Shaker Hills in Harvard, MA, and Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston, MA.Since 1988, the front nine has been renovated bringing the greens up to USGA standards. On-going improvements include a state of the art irrigation system, additional drainage and reworking many tee boxes. In 2012 we added a fifth set of tees so that golfers with any handicap or skill level can have an enjoyable and challenging round. There is also a sixth set of tees further forward for juniors and children. The course can truly meet any skill level successfully. Watch Our Video! The last two years have been trying, for us as a team and you as members, as we worked diligently to get a new permanent home for PLG to continue the long legacy we have behind us.The new Clubhouse has met its fair share of challenges but we are seeing the transformation and hope you love it as much as we do.Beginning at 11:00am Saturday we will serve cocktails on the deck. As you will see by the House Rules posted at the Club, it is based on first come first serve. We still must adhere to the mandates set forth by the state in light of the COVID 19 Pandemic.Sunday we will begin serving our Club House menu 7 days a week. Breakfast sandwiches, juice and coffee (Bloody's and Mimosa's too) will be available at 7am-10pm and Regular Menu Fare, Beer, Wine and Cocktails from 11am-7:00pm as well.Sundays from 7am-11am a complimentary Mimosa is included in the cost of your tee time. We have been so blessed to have such beautiful weather for our league days on Thursday.
