Charger in Vietam, Circa 1966Veterans Day, Nov 11, is for remembering all the men and women who have, and are, serving our country in so many capacities. They patrols the seas, air and ground, not just in the U.S., but for many countries who depend on our presence for protection. While our first thoughts of the military are of battle, they also provide search, rescue and medical aid for thousands every year. Drug interdiction, enforcing international law, bridge and canal building are just some of what our service members do, often at great risk to their own lives. Military dogs both assist and protect our service members while providing affection and moments of laughter.
CCA supports our service members, current and veteran! We'd like to give a special shout-out to Company A 1-169th Aviation Regiment, currently in Kosovo. During Vietnam, a Chinook named Charger was attached to the "Winged Warriors". Thank you to all Veterans!

Chinooks are affectionate and playful. They are easy to train with positive methods. Our dogs compete in AKC events, participating in conformation, obedience, rally, coursing, agility, tracking, nose work, therapy work, tricks,barn hunt and more. There are several AKC BreedChampions of record.
Chinooks can be sweet and laid back, but also have energy to burn and thrive with some type of job. While they love playing with children, Chinooks excel at all types of outdoor activities including hiking, jogging, biking, backpacking, sledding, skijoring, scootering, camping, swimming and boating.
Whether running in teams down a snowy trail, earningbreed and obediencetitles, flying through an agility course, hiking up a mountain, or snuggling on the couch with a much adored child - Chinooks are the ideal caninecompanion!
