Dejas teātris / baleta studija ”Grande” sāk darboties 2001. gadā MJC Praktiskās estētikas skolā. Kolektīvā nodarboties ir iespēja bērniem un jauniešiem vecumā no 4-25 gadi kā arī viņu vecākiem. Apmācību programma ir veidota uz klasiskās dejas pamatiem. Liela uzmanība tiek pievērsta stājas veidošanai, koordinācijai un bērnu individuālo spēju attīstīšanai. Profesionālu pedagogu vadībā ir iespējas apgūt klasisko deju, cittautu dejas un dažādus mūsdienu deju virzienus. Dejas teātrim ir liela koncertdarbības pieredze. Repertuārā ir dažādu dejas žanru koncertnumuri, deju uzvedumi, bērnu baleta izrādes. Kolektīva audzēkņi ir daudzu starptautisko dejas konkursu un festivālu laureāti. Daudzi kolektīva dejotāji savu nākotni saista ar dejas mākslu, kļūstot par profesionāliem deju pedagogiem un horeogrāfiem. Dejas teātris ”Grande” piedalās dažādos kultūras projektos, sadarbojas ar dažādu mākslas žanru profesionāliem māksliniekiem un kolektīviem. Deja ir valoda, kas māca atrast jaunus veidus, kā lūkoties uz pasauli un tajā notiekošo. Deju skolā "Grande" bērniem un jauniešiem ir iespējas profesionālu pedagogu vadībā apgūt klasisko deju, moderno deju, džeza deju, ir arī deju nodarbības pieaugušajiem.
