As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to change shape, we want to remind everyone that we consider all of our staff and clients to be part of our PCH family. Accordingly, we continue to navigate the pandemic placing the health and safety of our clients and staff first. We have all experienced significant disruptions in our lives – social, psychological, medical, financial and otherwise. This is the time that PCH is needed most of all. We know how it important it is to make our services available and safe.Toward this end, we are continuing to maintain our treatment milieu and see clients on the office premises at PCH in a safe and secure manner. The majority of our staff members and therapists are vaccinated and we are now working to vaccinate clients who live with us and those who qualify under California and CDC guidelines who are day treatment participants.All current clients have been tested and are negative for the coronavirus. When new clients arrive, they are screened, temperature-checked and tested with antibody and PCR antigen testing. New clients are only allowed to directly interact with other clients once they have tested negative for COVID-19 antigen.We use highly specialized equipment and protocols to sanitize all hard surfaces in our clinic and houses. We closely follow COVID monitoring and social distancing protocols and we have eliminated visitors to our houses. We are also fully operational with tele-health conferencing to remotely provide individual therapy and groups as needed and appropriate. We have adjusted client activities to avoid outings to public gathering places. We have added strict precautions around food handling to maintain a safe and sanitary environment at all times. We also provide full support to clients and their families should any disruption in treatment occur to facilitate a return to treatment as soon as possible.PCH will continue to communicate additional information as it becomes available. As practitioners of mental health, we thoroughly understand the worries and stress that every person is experiencing right now. Accordingly, we encourage anyone to seek help if they find themselves suffering. We are here to help clients AND their families through this complicated situation.
