Juni 2017 in Berlin auch noch mit dem Deutschen Mobilitätspreis, gestiftet von der Initiative „Deutschland – Land der Ideen“ sowie vom Bundesministerium für Verkehr, ausgezeichnet worden. Damit haben ihre Arbeiten zur automatischen Erkennung von Geisterfahrern (System „Ghostbuster“) hohe Anerkennung gefunden. Das Sensorsystem kann in einen Leitpfosten integriert werden und seine Energie über eine Solarzelle beziehen. Es setzt Warnmeldungen sowohl an den Fahrer als auch an die zuständigen Behörden ab.Prof. Helmut Seidel hat die VDE-Ehrenmedaille für seine "besonders hohen Verdienste um die GMM (Gesellschaft für Mikroelektronik, Mikrosystem- und Feinwerktechnik)" erhalten. Die Überreichung erfolgte am 28. Oktober 2015 auf dem Mikrosystemtechnik-Kongress in Karlsruhe.BerufungHerr Dr. Dara Feili hat einen Ruf als Professor für Medizintechnik an die Hochschule Trier erhalten. Er trat seine Stelle zum 1.
