生物圏情報学とは。。。京都大学大学院情報学研究科生物圏情報学講座は、生物・環境学、情報学、社会学の3つの学問を柱とし、研究を進めています。森林、農地、海洋にわたる生物圏には多種多様な生物が存在し、相互に複雑な関連を持ちながら生態系を形成しています。人間社会も生態系の一員として他の生物群集と相互に様々な影響を及ぼし合っています。こうした生物圏を複雑システムととらえ、生物の生存環境、生態系の物質循環過程、資源生物の個体情報、資源情報、生産情報等を広域的なネットワークにより総合的に把握することを試みています。また、地球環境や人間社会に及ぼす影響についても教育・研究を行っています。生物圏情報学講座は、生物資源情報学分野と生物環境情報学分野の2分野からなる大講座制をとっています。生物資源情報学分野- 生物資源に関する情報の利用を目指して -有用生物資源の持続的生産を可能とするシステムの構築、絶滅危惧種の保全や資源生物の持続的利用を目的とした情報取得・利用・管理システムの開発など、多岐にわたるテーマで教育・研究を行っています。具体的には、生物資源情報の収集を目的としたGPS、バイオロギングやバイオテレメトリーといった測位システムの開発、多変量解析、音響解析や画像解析といった技術を応用した生物資源情報の解析技術の開発、これら情報に基づく資源管理システムの構築などが研究テーマとなっています。生物環境情報学分野- 生物と環境の相互作用の理解を目指して -森林から海洋にいたる生物圏には多種多様な生物が存在し、相互に作用し合い、人間社会にも様々な影響を及ぼしています。主に陸上生態系に注目して、こうした生物圏に暮らす生物やそれらを巡り囲む環境の情報を分析し、人間社会との関係を含めて研究しています。研究対象としては、自然生態系から人間社会まで多岐にわたるフィールドにおいて、ヒトを含む動物、植物、微生物など多様な生物に着目します。情報収集に用いる手法も、野外調査から試料の化学分析・同位体分析、アンケートやインタビューまで様々です。これらの手法で収集されたデータをもとに、GIS等を用いた時空間的解析、現象のモデル化などの方法を用いて、生物とその環境について理解することを目指しています。住所： 〒606-8501 京都市左京区吉田本町 京都大学大学院 情報学研究科 社会情報学専攻 生物圏情報学講座TEL： 075-753-3137FAX： 075-753-3133E-Mail： breoffice_at_bre.soc.i.kyoto-u.ac.jpTAGS:Informatics Biosphere Lab
