We are confident that our office protocols go above and beyond those recommendations to keep you safe.We are committed to our safety protocols, and in addition to our existing measures, you should anticipate noticing the following protective efforts when you enter our office:Temperature checks occur at every visit.JCOBGYN is following the travel-related guidelines recommended by the KDHE.Click hereFace masks will be worn by our office staff.Increased efforts to disinfect throughout our office and reception area.Increased disinfecting protocol in our exam and ultrasound rooms.Increased cleaning protocols of equipment used in the office.Changes to provider schedules spreading patient’s appointments out to avoid a crowded waiting room.In addition to our efforts, we ask for your cooperation and support with the following safety measures as we work through this ever-changing situation:If you have respiratory symptoms, fever or GI symptoms concerning for COVID 19, please call our office to reschedule your appointment. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or been exposed to COVID-19 within 14 days of your appointment, please call our office to reschedule your appointment. If you are an Obstetrical patient who tests positive for COVID-19, please alert our office as soon as possible so we can make accommodation for your care. Please be flexible with us, we are working very hard to accommodate your needs.Wear a mask at all times while in the office.Maintain social distancing practices in our waiting room.You may be asked to wait in your car and receive a call when our staff is ready for your appointment.Visitors, including children, will not be permitted in clinic. Newborns up to 6 months old are welcome. Facetime and phone calls will be permitted so family can participate in your care. Minor patients may be accompanied by an adult.One support person may be present for OB ultrasounds. They will be asked to return to their car during your appointment.Obstetric patients are asked to call our office at913-236-6455to alert the doctor on call prior to coming to the hospital so we are prepared for your arrival.As always, we will continue to provide obstetric care including vaginal and cesarean deliveries. We will continue to care for patients with gynecologic concerns including counseling, in-clinic procedures, contraception, and surgeries when indicated. Nurse triage will still be available to answer questions. We also encourage everyone to sign up and use our new portal.Thank you for your patience, grace and flexibility as we all work to maintain safety measures when you visit our office.
