July 12, 2020 Updates from Santa Clara County Public Health: "Driving schools are allowed to resume starting July 13, once the minimum requirements have been met. Completion of the protocol, ensure face coverings are worn by both the student and instructor, cleaning and disinfecting the vehicle between lessons, and ensure adequate air flow in the vehicle, if weather permits." All driving instructors will be wear face masks and gloves. Students are required to wear face masks too. All vehicles will be cleaned before and after every lesson with a disinfectant cleaner. Sneeze guards will be installed in the cars and windows rolled down for ventilation. All students will be given sanitizer gel before each lesson starts and should clean their hands thoroughly before they enter the vehicle. Students should reschedule their appointments if they’re feeling sick or have recently come in contact with someone who has COVID-19 symptoms. In these cases, rescheduling fees will be waived. A Deluxe Driving School stopped offering driving lessons during this time. Resuming driving lessons, we will employ strong precautions to provide a safe, healthy and comfortable learning experience.
