We request that those who do attend services follow the recommended guidelines, such as social distancing, washing hand, covering cough and sneezes, and using our hand sanitizer. Use of a face mask is now mandated. Please plan accordingly when you attend an upcoming visitation or funeral gathering. We remain available to serve you at a time of need, 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. That has not changed. You may reach us anytime by calling: 320-679-1933.Temporarily, our office hours may be limited. If you need to come into the funeral home, please call to make an appointment. Our hearts go out to families experiencing loss at this time. We remain committed to serving our families while following the latest recommendations for safety from the CDC. You are important to us. Please do all you can to stay healthy in the coming weeks. May God hold you close during this difficult time, Mike Jane, Katy, Kathy and AshleyServices During COVID 19 PandemicFunerals are valuable events. Recognizing the loss of a loved one is important, and the love and support given to families is an essential part of a healthy grieving process. Ingebrand Funeral Homes remains committed and prepared to safely care for the families we serve during the extraordinary circumstances of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We recognize our responsibility to protect the health of those we are privileged to serve and are following recommended CDC measures to protect our client families, the general public, and ourselves. We remain committed to uninterrupted operations and to deliver the service excellence you have come to expect and value from us.Ingebrand Funeral Homes will continue to offer families meaningful ways to commemorate the life of their loved one, as we always have, while adhering to the guidance issued by federal, state, and local public health officials. Visitations, funerals, and burials will be held following current guidelines as to the number of people allowed to attend a public gathering. The funeral home is available to host all services, and we remain vigilant about keeping our facilities clean and following healthy habits. Church spaces are available at the discretion of respective clergy. We are supporting families on an individual basis to help them determine their best choice when making arrangements. Some families are deciding to wait to schedule services later on, while others are going ahead with smaller-scale funerals now followed by larger memorial gatherings in the future. To comply with the Governor’s statewide moratorium on large gatherings, services that do take place will limit the number of people attending. We urge those that do attend services to follow recommended healthy habits, such as social distancing, hand hygiene, covering cough and sneezes, etc. Physical gestures of sympathy, such as hugging and kissing, should be avoided, while loving words and caring smiles will always be welcome. We do request that the elderly and anyone who may be more susceptible to COVID-19, to please not attend visitations or funerals until further notice.Alternative expressions of sympathy are encouraged. Picture sharing and online condolences can be posted to our website or you may mail a card to the family. A simple note, text or phone call can go a long way letting someone know you care. Take the time to share your support with those experiencing loss during this uncertain time.Experiencing change, loss, death and grief is difficult. We live in a culture that glorifies youth, beauty and productiveness and denies the role that loss, suffering and grief play in shaping our lives. When we love deeply we grieve deeply at the death of a loved one. Funeral rituals are important as they honor the life that was lived, help us express the grief we feel, invite friends and family to offer comfort and support and often become reunions for family and friends. Funerals are for the living. No two funerals are exactly alike. The ceremony may be religious or secular depending on the person responsible for making arrangements.A meaningful, personalized funeral or memorial service will be an important occasion for the family to share memories and begin the grief process. We are committed to helping you plan a meaningful funeral or memorial service that is consistent with the life that was lived and strives to meet the emotional and financial needs of the survivors.
