Beginning March 22, Monroe County officials announced the temporary closure of hotels, guest houses, and short term vacation rentals. City of Key West directives are consistent with this order. The Florida Keys are now temporarily closed to visitors. Closures of all short-term accommodations currently remain in effect. We look forward to welcoming our guests when the islands are reopened to visitors. VHKW ~ Vacation Homes of Key West remains open via internet, email, and telephone during the COVID-19, 14-day closures. Rental Agents and our Customer Service Desk are available during normal working hours, and Housekeeping and Maintenance Staff are available to perform usual duties. Our physical office at 507 Whitehead St., Key West, FL, is closed in accordance with a City of Key West health directive. We are following CDC and State and City of Key West guidelines and directives on health and travel. We also review local travel restrictions, in addition to following guidance from the World Health Organization to provide you with updated information that pertains to our business. At this time, we are not offering refunds for cancellations made against our cancellation policy as specified in our rental contract with guests. If you have purchased travel insurance, please contact your insurance company right away. Additionally, we are offering rescheduling options with some restrictions. Guests scheduled to arrive within the dates of our cancellation policy, may defer their arrival and reschedule within the current calendar year up to December 31, 2020. This excludes premium / festival weeks. To reschedule your reservation, please review the on-line calendar to check availability for open dates.
