This includes verbal harassment, unprovoked assaults, and being socially ostracized and antagonized. On March 16, a gunman targeted three spas and massage parlors in Atlanta, Georgia, killing eight people, including six women of Asian descent. On this year's Thank a Resident Day, residents were treated to a virtual Visiting Professor talk by Dr. Manoj Monga, this year's Fenmore Visiting Professor in Urology,   24th Annual Dorothy Fenmore visiting professor in UrologyWe are honored to have Dr. Manoj Monga, Professor and Chair of Urology at UC San Diego, join us on February 26th as the 24th Annual Fenmore visiting professor in Urology.  Improving cancer detection on MRIUrology faculty Dr. Geoff Sonn and his colleagues' new work improves alignment between prostate MRI and histopathology, which helps to train deep learning models for cancer detection and better understand histologic correlates of lesions on MRI. New Pediatric Urology FacultyDr. Han joins the Stanford Urology Department after finishing his fellowship in pediatric urology at Children’s Hospital Colorado. He completed his urology residency at the University of California, San Diego. He has interests in congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract, complex urologic reconstruction, and pediatric urologic oncology. He will be starting a basic science lab where he will be studying ways to develop innovative treatments for babies with congenital renal anomalies. He is excited to join Stanford and return to the Bay Area, where he will be close to family and old friends.
