Description:

Our MissionTo care for women and their families in a way that is scientifically and morally sound, while respecting a woman’s ability and right to manage her health, pregnancy care, and birth experience to the extent she desires. To accomplish this, we utilize the expertise of both Obstetricians/ Gynecologists and Certified Nurse-Midwives in a fully integrated model of care that allows both groups of professionals to offer their very best. The result: patients and their families receive personalized, comprehensive care they simply cannot receive in any other model of care.We are an authentically pro-life practice. As part of our vision, we utilize Creighton Fertility Model/NaProTECHNOLOGY™ and therefore do not prescribe artificial contraceptives, place IUD’s, perform sterilization procedures, refer for in-vitro fertilization (IVF), or refer for or participate in pregnancy termination (abortion) under any circumstance. We believe our practice is most certainly and purposefully different from most. It is not our desire to care for everyone, but to care for everyone that needs our unique approach to care. We believe unencumbered access to our providers is a key component to our successful outcomes. As such our patients are encouraged to communicate with us directly via the means that works best for them including cell phone, email, and text messaging. We believe it is an honor to serve as partners with our patients in their healthcare and we do everything possible to treat the sanctity of that relationship with the respect it deserves. That means, in those patients with a history of prior cesarean section, our c-section Continue I’ve had the occasion recently to travel north of Fort Wayne on I-69 southbound, and I’m troubled by a billboard I’ve noticed from one of the hospital systems in town (it doesn’t matter which one) reading, “Your birth, your way.” I like the phase, in general, as it suggests that a woman can experience her Continue Dr. Stroud (OB-GYN) offers information to families on how to avoid having a cesarean ..avoid an induction.
