WHAT IS RAMADAN?
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting from dawn to sunset, giving, reflection, and community.
WHAT IS EIDIYE?
During this month, children receive Eidiye, which is money they get from their family and relatives to spend on toys, candies, and Eid clothing. It is a tradition that dates back centuries. For most, it is wrapped in emotions and nostalgia.
Children usually wait for their Eidiye to go and buy everything on their wish lists!
This Ramadan you can take part in changing a life!
We are highlighting the stories of 16 of our children aiming to raise enough funds to fully cover their medical treatment. Our goal for this Ramadan campaign is to raise $128,000.

This year we are asking you to give Eidiye to the conflict impacted children at INARA! What better gift can you give a wounded or ill child than health? With your Eidiye donation, they will be able to receive the treatment they desperately need.
You can either give a symbolic Eidiye and contribute to the treatment or sponsor the whole treatment plan and give them the ultimate gift of health. The average cost of treatment to fully heal a child is $8,000.
Giving Eidiye to INARA’s children gives them their health and agency back. Giving is beautiful in all its forms, and by giving Eidiye, you will heal their visible and invisible scars.
This Ramadan, we aim to raise enough funds to fully sponsor 16 of our cases!

THE LANTERNS
A lantern symbolizes the tradition of the Ramadan night feast. Children used to carry lanterns at dawn to light the way as people walk from one house to another gathering for “Sohour” feast. By supporting INARA this Ramadan season, you will be lighting the children’s path towards recovery.
If you choose to fully sponsor a case, INARA will send you a special and uniquely designed wooden Ramadan lantern that is fun to assemble with your loved ones and makes the perfect decoration at home or at the office.
When you give any amount as Eidiye to one of INARA’s children, you will receive a personalized thank you card from our team as well as a digital lantern design for you to print out and make your own lantern this Ramadan season.
