It is better if metro rail route is also covered. This will enable connectivity to vijayanagar bus stand and from their travellers can either take metro or bmtc buses for other destinations. Also for commuters in the area this will help and people can travel in BMTC buses than going in two or four wheelers. This can be done on an experimental basis from 08.00 to 12.00 hours in the morning and also 04.00 to 09.00 in the evening session.

Old footpath is being made wider, which is good for pedestrians but it is not really helping them or anyone in the process.
1) The footpath still has many transformers, hawkers and other types of obstructions, so it is not continuous in many points, which makes the footpath not very useful. Pedestrians will be forced to come on to the road.
2) With the widening of the footpath the road width has decreased in many points where it is already narrow.
3) People park on the roadside here all the times.
Now with narrow roads where side parking continues and pedestrians also coming on to the road - the footpath widening is helping whom??

At Kundanahalli Gate junction, there is a lack of pedestrian safety mainly due to two reasons: a) No zebra crossing or any other demarcation for the vehicles to stop at. Due to this, pedestrians have to cross in-between the vehicles, which becomes risky due to reason (b). b) The signal for vehicles coming from Spice Garden going towards Varthur, does not have a countdown timer. The vehicles in anticipation of a green signal gradually keep moving ahead until there is only little gap left between them and the vehicles coming from Kundanahalli Main road. So the pedestrians, already moving from in-between the vehicles, are caught in suddenly moving traffic, creating a massive safety risk. I urge and plead to you to take action on the mentioned points in a speedy manner.

Because currently, this road sees heavy traffic, this is ALSO where people try to cross the road, ALSO where autos stop to pick up passengers and vehicles *exiting* the road add to the chaos. There is no actual crossing for people, which is a bit odd, don't you think? Can you please create a proper pedestrian crossing instead of just a damaged road divider so that people don't have to risk their lives twice every day trying to cross?

The pipe line laying work in the Puttenahalli slum being done by BWSSB is left as it is, this broke the roads in some parts. Then regular heavy rains created some craters and now all together this stretch is unbearable.

The recent rains has caused the situation to worsen as its very difficult either to walk or commute using 2/4 wheelers, there have been instance of people getting injured due to the enlarged potholes and horrific traffic. Its especially harmful for pregnant mothers and children and this needs to be addresses ASAP.

Metro Construction has created many barricades and BBMP has made no sincere effort to provide service road when metro work is going on. With the recent rains the road sides are full of slush, main road has potholes of crater sizes and to top it all - garbage can be found in plenty along the road. Could BBMP pay attention to this road and get the road fixed and the garbage points cleared.
