We offer a wide range of engineering services under one roof and are looking to fill capacity! WEC Machining Ltd offer a wide range of subcontract multi-axis CNC machining and precision engineering services. Operating from a purpose built 33,000 sq. ft. production facility in Blackburn, Lancashire, we have over 35 CNC machining centres and lathes in-house and manufacture precision machined components and assemblies to customer specifications.We provide CNC milling services up to 11.5 metres in length together with the use of Horizontal Pallet Loaders, enabling us to offer customers the most cost-effective batch manufacturing. Our CNC Lathes with both driven tooling and sub-spindle options mean we can provide a turning capacity of up to 3.8 metres in length, 950mm diameter. Recent investments in the latest sliding head turning technology also enables us to produce a high volume of precision turned parts at the highest quality. We also produce sheet metal components and fabricated assemblies using a range of forming and welding techniques from profiles produced by WEC Group's laser cutting division. WEC Machining has been involved in the manufacture of quality workshop machinery for over 40 years. Now trading as Clarendon by WEC (previously known as Hi-Spec Machinery and Precision Engineers Rishton) we are the original manufacturers of the renowned Clarendon Presses as well as a wide range of industrial and educational grinders, polishers, bandfacers, and dust extraction units. Complementing all aspects of component and sub-assembly manufacture, WEC Machining Ltd has a comprehensive assembly facility providing mechanical, electromechanical and hydromechanical assemblies. These range from simple hinge assemblies through to PLC controlled hydraulically actuated Patient Tail Lifts and ramps for front-line ambulances which are manufactured by our Hi-Spec Tail Lifts division. We carry out entire projects under one roof to provide a fast, comprehensive and cost-effective service as well as meeting the challenging specifications and schedules called for by our customers. WEC Fabrication WEC Fabrication benefits from over 35 years in the fabrication industry, offering design and fabrication of metal/alloy products ranging from small precision components to large industrial fabrications. With craneage facilities of up to 30 tonnes, over 125 skilled welders and an extensive range of state-of-the-art equipment, we are well placed to meet your fabrication requirements.
