Visiting our sitesShropshire s stunning countryside has remained open throughout the lockdown. From Severn Valley Country Park to The Mere and Nesscliffe Hill, it has been a lifeline for people right across Shropshire during the coronavirus pandemic, offering a safe, clean space to get some fresh air and exercise.As the lockdown restrictions continue to be eased by the Government, the kiosk and public toilets at Severn Valley Country Park will be open.  From Wednesday 5th of August to Sunday the 6th of September opening hours for these will be 10am till 4pm.As of the 10th of July 2020 the play area at the Severn Valley Country Park will also be open for children to use under the supervision of one adult.  Posters will be around the site giving guidelines on best hygiene practice for users, please follow these.When visiting any countryside site, please make sure you maintain 2m social distancing where possible, regularly wash your hands and dispose of any rubbish responsibly.The risk of the coronavirus being passed on to others outdoors is considered to be low as long as people maintain social distancing.  Please adhere to any guidelines which are set out at the site you are visiting.You can meet in groups of:·         up to 2 households (your support bubble counts as one household), indoors or outdoors·         up to 6 people from different households, outdoorsThis national guidance applies to England. Undertaking the survey each year allows Shropshire Council to understand how things are changing and where future actions should be prioritised. This is the first revision since September 1965 and includes over 2000 modifications resulting from confirmed legal orders and agreements since that time. The revised definitive map for the county has been printed in colour at a scale of 1:10,000 and the revised statement includes descriptions of all these modifications made to the rights of way network since 1965 when the statement consisted of one route only.The Definitive Map and Statement may be viewed free of charge during normal office hours at Shirehall, Shrewsbury.
