The carved figures of the goddess Chao Mae Lim Kor Niew and ten other deities are carried in a procession first through the waters of the Pattani River and then back through the fire in front of the shrine before returning to the shrine itself. The celebrations attract large crowds of people who want to enjoy the entertainment program in the evening. Contact : - Ao Phang Nga (Phang Nga Bay) Location : Mueang District, Phangnga It covers a total area of approximately 250,000 Rai in the districts of Phang Nga, Takua Thung and Koh Yao. It is Thailand's second Marine National Park, where most of the area consists of sea with islands of limestone mountains of varying shapes and beauty. It is also home to mangrove forests and a breeding ground for marine animals. It was declared a national park on April 29, 1981. From December to April is the best time to visit the park, while from May to October heavy rains and strong waves are expected.
