I am very proud to be the Headteacher of High Ash School and enjoy working with the children, staff, parents, Church and wider community to ensure we can be the very best we can for the children here now.Now more than ever, we are unwavering in our commitmentto live out our vision and values as a school so that we can work together in these unprecedented times. We remain determined to ensure our children are given the very best care, support and learning experiences so that they continue to thrive academically, socially and spiritually and achieve life in all its fullness. We know we are leading a school in the midst of a COVID19 global pandemic and we have ensured we do so by providing a safe, positiveand nurturing learning environment, with the full curriculum on offer for everyone, no matter what. From September 2020, we are once again open to all pupils full time. We are also aiming to create children who are creative, technologically savvy and great communicators; ready to face the exciting challenges of their future lives.At our school we aim to combine high levels of academic attainment and progress with an equal focus on developing individuals who will also make a positive contribution to society and are able to truly live our PROUD principles and have a moral compass underpinned by Christian values. We wish them to know and understand how to be a light and inspiration to themselves and others and this was the reason the children chose Let your light shine (Matthew 5:16) in order to represent this.Myself and all my staff are unwavering in our commitment to ensure every child reaches their potential, through a rich curriculum, through reflection and worship and through a drive to continuously wish to improve.
