Box 24208Jackson, MS 39225Please direct your emails to KnowYourBenefits@dfa.ms.gov or call 601-359-3411 or toll-free at 866-586-2781 should you need assistance.  Thank you!   STATE AND SCHOOL EMPLOYEES’ HEALTH INSURANCE PLANTemporary Benefit EnhancementsRevised 7-1-2020 In order to help reduce the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the State and School Employees’ Health Insurance Plan has made the following temporary benefit enhancements: Medically necessary diagnostic testing for COVID-19, consistent with Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, is covered with no cost sharing(deductible, copay, coinsurance) to you. Medically necessary telephone-onlyprovider visits have been added to the Plan’s existing telemedicine (online provider visit) coverage when provided by network providers, subject to the applicable deductible, coinsurance and copayment.  Plan participants are encouraged to contact their local network provider to determine if the needed service is available via telemedicine.  Participants may also access online provider services 24/7 by contacting AmWell at https://mssehip.Amwell.com/ or call 844.SEE.DOCS (844-733-3627).  These temporary enhancements are intended to help ensure our Plan participants get the care and medications they need without further exposing themselves and/or their providers to the risk of contracting or spreading the virus.   These changes have been implemented based on guidance and recommendations from federal and State authorities, and will remain in effect until further notice. If you have any questions, please call 601-359-3411 or toll-free at 866-586-2781 or email us at KnowYourBenefits@dfa.ms.gov should you need assistance.  Thank you and stay safe. Temporary Benefit Enhancements - Original Notice Expired 06.30.20      The Mississippi State and School Employees’ Life and Health Insurance Plan is a self-insured plan that provides coverage for more than 197,000 active employees, dependents, spouses and retirees.Health benefits are administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi through the AHS State Network of physicians, hospitals and other health care providers, available exclusively only to Plan participants. BCBSMS provides participants with an online medical explanation of benefits and many other tools to manage their health care.
