The Ranch provides a safe, loving, lifetime home to more than 200 exotic, farm, and domestic animals. We facilitate the adoption of spayed and neutered animals to appropriate and fully screened families. Many animals, due to age, physical issues, or type will remain at Darlynn's Darlins Ranch for life. We offer help and solutions to animal behavior issues hoping to help animals remain in their homes.Darlynn's Darlins receives absolutely no funding through any county, city, or government entity. We are a volunteer organization, have no paid employees, and corporate officers receive no compensation. We seek your support to rescue and provide for at risk animals and to fund our education, outreach, and advocacy initiatives.The animals come to us from abuse and abandonment situations. We also get calls from local animal control agencies not knowing what to do or who to call about intake potbelly pigs, many with behavior issues, and ask us if we can take them so they don't have to be killed. We do our best to accommodate those because their lives are in immediate danger. MISSION STATEMENTDarlynn's Darlins advocates for and affirms the fundamental respect and equal consideration due every sentient being sharing our planet. This guiding principle is reflected in the daily operation of our hands-on, no-kill animal rescue and shelter. Our appropriate awareness educational programs for the public, especially for young people, embody bold but simple ideas for a peaceful, healthy existence in harmony with the non-human members of the global family. We dare to imagine a better life for all ... at the expense of none.
