The VinAgora wine competition had many entries this year and a record number of foreign samples.941 samples took part in the competition, representing 16 wine-producing countries. The competition was impressive regarding the wines, challenging even the professionals in some cases. The high quality of the wine rows is reflected in the fact that the evaluating committees gave about 76% of the wines a silver medal score, above 85 points. However, according to the international rules of the professional patrons of the competition, only the best 30% of wines in all main categories can be awarded medals. Based on the correspondingly finalized medal points limits, 9 gold, 160 gold, 116 silver medals, 7 main categories of champion prizes, and 25 other special prizes were awarded.
