She supports her students outside of the classroom, as well. I am forever thankful to Dr. Clark for piquing my interest in science and advising me in my journey with biology. Jennifer Murphy 18 I appreciated being involved in a smaller, more intimate environment where a teacher could pull you aside and say, Wow, you can sing. I don t think that happens at a bigger school.And that happened across the board at LCA. I met Coach Campbell and she encouraged me to play sports. Everywhere I went there wassomeone in authority that was a mentor and encouraging me drama, music, sports, academics. Keri Claiborne Boyle 91Author and Triathlete Community has been a big through line in my life, and I cherish the community I had at LCA. People know who you and and people care about you, whether that s the random middle schoolers who you say hi to in the hallways or the people in your class or the teachers. It s really great that I have a community who knows who I am and can care for me in different ways. Recently Treysaid, The thing about LCA is I feel like whenever I want to try something new, there s room for it in school.I don t have to do all my creative stuff outside of school. That is such an incredible win for you guys. You can be so proud of that. I think there s room for me goes beyond just options of special classes.
