What a great truck and story. When I was a kid I got to watch Royce drive by my house on our gravel rd when he would take his log truck home to give it a good cleaning. My dad pulled doubles and triple at Freres from the early 70 s until 1988.The company needs to get it back fix it up to original for a parade truck. To much history to not have back!My husband grew up on Highway 226 and as a young boy Harold (being the softy that he was) would stop by and let Ron run shotgun with him for an occasional trip to the mill. Ron has such fond memories of Harold and his truck! And as fate would have it, Harolds son Rex is our brother-in-law!
