Description:

The Center for Quantum Information and Control (CQuIC) is a research center co-located at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and the University of Arizona in Tucson. Research at CQuIC is focused on the control of complex quantum systems: we aim to make quantum systems march to our orders, instead of doing what comes naturally. Our research is organized as quantum information and computation, quantum control and measurement, quantum metrology, and quantum optics and communication, and we have extensive theoretical and experimental research programs in all these areas. The Center’s Director is Ivan Deutsch. CQuIC works closely with two local partners, Sandia National Laboratories and Los Alamos National Laboratory.CQuIC is supported by a center-wide grant from the National Science Foundation. Looking to join us as a postdoc or a research student? Find out about those opportunities here.Featured VideosWatch What is quantum supremacy and did Google do it?
