Read more This week at Town Hall Sidewalk Snow Removal Survey:Your opinion on the topic of sidewalk snow removal is being sought by the Castine Sidewalk Ad-Hoc Committee. Below is an online survey and map of Castines existing sidewalks, which are located in Village Districts VI and VII, in the Educational Zone and in the Commercial Zone. We appreciate your input.

Zoning and Sidewalks for SurveyOvernight Parking Ban: In effect as of November 1st (11/1/21 4/30/22). Please do not park overnight on any town streets/roads. If you do your vehicle will be subject to a parking ticket.

Utility Board: 1 regular member, 3-year term; 1 alternate member, 1-year term
Recreation Committee: 3 regular members, 3-year terms; 2 alternate members, 1-year terms
Tree Committee: 1 regular member, 3-year term
Cemetery Association: 2 alternate members, 1-year terms

Thank you.Town Reports: The new edition is available at the Town Office M-F, 8AM to 3:30PM.2022 Dog Registrations: 2022 Dog Registrations are available starting October 15th. Bring current Rabies vaccination and payment; $6 for spayed/neutered dog and $11 for non-spayed/non-neutered dog. REMINDER: Please remember that dogs need to be leashed or owners need to have verbal control of their dogs when out walking around the community at all times. Also, DO NOT leave doggy waste, please scoop the poop!!Emerson Hall Window Services (open M-F 8AM to 3:30PM)Emerson Hall Drop Off Box:
There is a Drop Off Box near the front doors of Emerson Hall for your convenience to drop off water/sewer payments, tax bill payments, paperwork, etc.
The Town Office staff will be checking it regularly. Thank you
