We do not offer guest or day passes.When are lap swimming hours?Lap lanes are available 6 days per week (closed Mondays). The indoor and outdoor pool are both set up for lap swimming. Lanes are booked through the Member Portal. (Reservations are currently required due to COVID-19 capacity limits.)How do I join? Click Register Now at the top of the page to set up your membership account. Our system accepts credit or debit cards. Do you offer short-term passes? No, we only offer monthly recurring memberships or annual memberships. Monthly memberships require a minimum of 3 months' membership.Are discounts available? We offer the same low rates for all members of the community. No affiliation with UNO is required to join. How deep are the pools?The indoor pool ranges from 4 to 12 feet deep, and the outdoor pool is 4 feet deep. How old must a person be to be a member? Can children come alone?The Primary Member of the account must be at least 18 years old. The primary account holder may add depedents, including minors. Each dependent is subject to the monthly or annual membership fee. All minors must be accompanied by an adult member when using the facility. Minors are only allowed to lap swim.Do you offer pool parties?No.Do you have showers and lockers?Yes, we offer showers and lockers. Please bring your own lock. Note: Showers/locker rooms are temporarily closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.What is the weather policy?The outdoor pool closes 30 minutes for thunder/lightning until it has passed, and for hard rain. The indoor pool will not be opened during a scheduled outdoor pool time if there are pre-existing private rentals/reservations.Are lifeguards on duty?Lifeguards are on duty from 5:00-8:00 pm Tuesday through Friday, and on weekends for the outdoor pool. All other times are swim at your own risk lap swimming, with a building monitor present in the facility.Swim Lessons at UNO Aquatic CenterWe have partnered with Nu Wave Swim Club to offer swim lessons. Please visit their website for contact information and lesson registration. NOTE: Lessons are currently on hold due to COVID-19. Nu Wave Swim Lessons at UNO Pool parties must be booked at least 7 days in advance. Lifeguards, tables, and chairs are included with all scheduled parties. All groups wishing to use the facility must reserve space at least 7 days in advance. Green cones designate a lane available for member/visitor swim.We are a fitness swimming / lap swimming facility. Recreational swimming is not allowed.No food or drink is allowed in the pool.No diving in the shallow end.Proper swim attire is required. Please shower before entering the pool.No swimming underneath or between the bulkhead. No walking on the bulkhead.Walk, do not run.No underwater breath-holding.Starting blocks are for use only by swim teams during practice.Only facility employees may teach swim lessons.
