The Dutch Tech consists out of Bulgarian companies with a strong relation to The Netherlands. A Dutch Headquarters, a Dutch founder / owner or strongly active on the Dutch market. Often these Bulgarian companies have a Dutch flavor in the way they are organized. As a cluster we believe in an open economy, in which collaboration will help us to achieve more goals. In Dutch Tech we collaborate on many topics and there are several events in which we share our knowledge.

Why is it cool to work for a Dutch company?

The Netherlands is a very innovative country (number 2 on the global innovation index). This is immediately visible if you look at the companies which are in the cluster. Monica has been working at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bulgaria since 2000.

She has graduated from the Technical University in Sofia and holds a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering. She has a Professional Certificate in Management and Marketing from the UK Open University, as well as, post-graduate certificates from the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht.
In her current position as Economic and Commercial advisor, she is responsible for the implementation of the economic priorities and goals of the Dutch government. She is working on improving the local business and investment climate. In the last years she is focusing on the High-Tech and Innovation sectors, creating opportunities for startups and scale ups in Bulgaria.
