FINCH CAMBRIDGE: Finch Cambridge is one of the first large-scale multi-family Passive House developments in Massachusetts and the largest new multi-family affordable housing development in Cambridge in 40 years.

Projects Historical

MAPLE COMMONS: With 11 separate buildings, including 173 apartments and a community building, the project spreads across two city blocks in the downtown Springfield Lower Maple Historic District.

NEI has officially begun construction at 25 Sixth Street in Chelsea. When complete the new midrise building will feature 62 new mixed-income rental and homeownership units, conveniently located on the MBTA’s Silver Line.

We joined @_TND_inc, @MassHousing and @RepPressley for a tour of 25 Sixth Street in #Chelsea, which is being transformed into a mixed-income and mixed-use property. The project is the first in the state to utilize ARPA funding for affordable homeownership development.

We are proud to announce that we've reached another milestone. For the first day in NEI history we had over 1,000 people working on our jobsites!! That's over 1,000 people, hard at work, building for good!

Our team recently took part in Cambridge’s National Night out where NEI was a Corporate Sponsor for Homeowners Rehab Inc's, (HRI) scholarship program. This year the program was able to give away over 40 scholarships to tenants living in HRI properties!
