This wiki is a collection of resources dealing with the College Prepratory Mathematics course for Texas Region One and other school districts in the Rio Grande Valley and surrounding regions. This course has been co-developed with UTPA/UTB, STC, TSC, and TSTC.

The primary audience for this wiki are the high schools teaching the course.
You will find here resources for organizing the course, information about using the online homework systems, and other materials that may be useful to you. We encourage you to join the site and make contributions, we particularly want to hear what you are trying in your class; this is one reason we are using a wiki.

Resources for the courseStudent Learning Outcomes and ObjectivesVideo and Online Resources: Contains a set of materials that may be useful in your class. Where possible these have been included in other places in the course, but for convenience are listed here.Online Homework Systems: A common theme from the Institutions of Higher Education that partnered on developing this course was that the students we see who need additional work in mathematics before starting their college mathematics course have seen the material covered, but have not had a chance to practice it sufficiently to obtain mastery. Instructors should keep this in mind when planning classroom activities. Online homework systems offer students the opportunity to practice problems and receive immediate feedback on their work. The online homework systems will be used to deliver the final exam to your class.WebWork: UTPA is hosting a WebWork server which can be used for the online system. It is free of charge. We will provide you with a template course including homework assignments, Benchmark quizzes.MyMathLab: Pearson offers the commercial software MyMathLab associated with individual textbooks.
