nose - caramel, white grapes, peaches, nutmeg

nose - cotton candy, marshmallow, agave....caramel...very sweet

color: pale gold - 0.3 - i shall name it sifted apple juicenose - apples apples, apples, some peat behind, sugared cherries, plumsmouthed - bright lemonapple then alcohol turned to figlike sweetness, bit o brown sugar, then grass

0.2 - pale straw - i shall call her yellow silver

nose - deeply smoked meat, tangy peat, green apples

mouth - tangy smoke, peat, alcohol is there..not too brave..apples are hidden but there...some butter...grass...

pours very dark....no head..a smattering of bubbles...

nose - soft vanilla bean......banana...a bit of cola....a light cocoa wafting...buttery pound cake...

mouth - sweet vanilla soaked cakes followed by bitter chocolate and toasted pine nuts....and espresso....the bitter stays in the mouth for quite a while...a warm alcohol note taken over by more bitter chocolate...i mean the real bitter stuff like michel cluizel noir infini 99%... a fruity dark cherry appears long after...

after warming for ten minutes -

nose - more banana...coconut, macadamia nut, good vanilla ice cream...

mouth - smooth like wonderfully deep strong with a hint of sweet, chocolate milk....leading to buttery moist cakes...then into nut meat and strong chocolate...


after another ten minutes....PERFECT drinking temp

noseeeeee - the coffee rises and the macadamia sweetens but the banana is still there..and i do not mean a sweet sickly banana but a proper ripe fresh banana....buttered coconut pound cake......the alcohol is still here on the nose..i think it becomes more prominent as the beer warms...

look of love - muted wheat

nosed - lemon yellow sun, musty grapefruit

in my mouth - juuuniper...a bit of xmas in the mouth...upbeat lemon and pepper...grapefruity hops.....

this is a most wonderful drink all day ale made with love and happiness..i will be drinking as much as i can find...

this cork popped with a mighty sound!


a nice golden color..like sparkling cider

smell - damp cellars, apples.....pepper and lemon..

mouthwise - fresh and alive with that yummy saison funkness to it, figs, wood, a bit o honey sweetness...plenty of carbonation for those awesome live yeast belches...

i cannot wait to get to the yeasty bottom and tell you about it...
