Atiigo designed a branded poster series for the YWCA in Nunavut, with the aim of balancing serious messages with supportive, uplifting imagery.

Chief Operations OfficerHaving lived in Nunavut for over twenty years, Tony understands the complexities of delivering communications products across a vast and challenging territory. His hands-on experience with Nunavut’s government, Inuit organizations, socioeconomic issues, political landscape, regional differences, culture, traditions, and language allow Tony to effectively plan and execute projects that resonate with both his clients and the communities.
Since founding Atiigo in 2003, he has worked on major communications projects for the territorial and federal governments, Inuit organizations and within the private sector. Tony led Atiigo’s recent work with the Government of Nunavut to create public awareness on issues such as Tobacco Cessation, Responsible use of Alcohol and Cannabis.
Mylène Chartrand
Office Manager and Graphic DesignerShe has a deep knowledge of daily operations and is actively involved in Atiigo’s larger projects. Since joining the company in 2006, she has worked on a variety of projects with clients representing the territorial and federal governments, Inuit organizations and the private sector. Mylène has a degree in Art Design, with a specialization in Graphic Design.
Mélanie Houde
Creative Director and Graphic DesignerHer work on a wide variety of printed and web projects demonstrates her ability to combine creativity with thoughtful consideration of the needs of a diverse clientele. Mélanie has worked for Atiigo Media since 2004, and lived in Iqaluit for two and a half years.
She has a degree in Art and Design, with a specialization in Graphic Design. She has also completed courses in Mass Communication and is certified by the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada.
Recently, Mélanie headed up the design work on the “Let's Be Aware” for the Government of Nunavut’s Department of Health. This project included branding, print, promotion, and advertising components and was regarded as an extremely effective visual campaign.
Andrei Stoisor
Senior DesignerA highly versatile, talented and driven designer with over 20 years immersed in the marketing and communication field. With a formal design education from Sheridan College, School of Applied Arts and Technology, Andrei uses his different disciplines to create solutions that are effective and memorable.
Having had the privilege of working with many diverse clients from start-ups to large corporations, Andrei is constantly excited to get to explore design in its many forms, to continue to enhance and learn something new everyday and recognizes the privilege to put his own ideas into the world where design is continuously evolving.
As our Senior Designer Andrei works with the creative team to develop visually rich products that resonate with our clients and target audience.
Matilda Pinksen
Graphic DesignerMatilda was born and raised in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Matilda’s interest in Graphic Design was sparked in high school when she joined a graphic design club. Through graphic design competitions, free-lance work and working with non-profit organizations throughout high school and university, Matilda has hands on experience and has worked on a variety of diverse projects. With her unique upbringing in the North, Matilda has a deep understanding of the visual language and communication requirements in Nunavut.
She graduated from NSCAD University in Nova Scotia with a Bachelor of Design, Majoring in Interdisciplinary Design. With a special interest in typography, branding and logo design, she aims to offer her skills and enthusiasm as part of the design team at Atiigo Media. As a recent graduate, Matilda is excited to be working in her hometown and giving back creatively to the community.
Ryan Hook
Senior DesignerBorn and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Ryan began his career as a designer just prior to graduating from Seneca College’s Graphic Design program in 2003. Since then, he has accumulated extensive experience and a breadth of knowledge working in boutique design agencies and in-house design departments.
Ryan’s work is guided by a strong belief in design as a problem-solving tool and as a method for improving communication. He has a solid background in typography and graphic design and over 20 years of professional experience in art direction, brand development, print design and marketing collateral for some of Canada’s most
well-known brands. He enjoys working closely with clients, and developing design solutions that make a difference in some way — through market differentiation, innovation or social change.
As Senior Designer, Ryan works with the creative team to develop engaging and compelling materials for our clients and target audiences.
Cynthia Pitsiulak
Digital Media SpecialistCynthia Pitsiulak is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in Inuit throat singing, painting, puppeteering, acting, television, radio and video production. Originally from Kimmirut, Nunavut, Pitsiulak has traveled and performed around the world sharing her artistic talents. She is known for her work as a former producer and puppeteer for the Inuit children's show Takuginai. She is best known for her work with the band Silla and Rise, a two-time Juno nominated band which blends Inuit throat singing and modern sounds. Pitsiulak lives a life dedicated to her love of art and is bringing this passion to our creative team at Atiigo Media.
Thibaut Larquey
Video Production CoordinatorBorn in Southern France, where he studied film and photography, Thibaut moved to Montreal in 2005. Photographer by trade for 20 years, he eventually made his way into the film industry where he’s been successfully working for the last 6 years. Thibaut moved to Iqaluit in 2017 where he’s been dedicated to creating quality photo and video content.
Highly skilled in many aspects of photo and video production, Thibaut is known to be a very resourceful person and a creative problem solver. He is in charge of managing and coordinating projects in the video production department.
Kelly Craver
Website Division ManagerKelly has a proven ability to conduct accurate needs analyses, solve problems, assess technical capabilities, conduct strategic planning, and manage projects of various size and complexity.
She has managed projects ranging from small static websites to large database-driven websites with content management systems since 2003. Over the past four years, she has specialized in the Drupal platform and has been working for clients belonging to territorial government departments, Nunavut Inuit organizations, non-profit organizations, and private sector businesses throughout Nunavut.
Recent projects led by Kelly include websites developed for the Office of the Premier of Nunavut, Elections Nunavut, and the Government of Nunavut’s Departments of Legislation and Health.
Penny Taylor
Senior ConsultantPenny is one of the newest members of the Atiigo team and brings with her not only an extensive inventory of business expertise, but also a positive “can do” attitude coupled with a collaborative, solutions based approach to tackling work.
Penny spent the first seven years of her career in marketing and advertising in both Toronto and Halifax. In 2002 she jumped at the opportunity to work as the Communications Manager with the Government of Nunavut’s Department of Culture and Heritage. Working on numerous community based initiatives such as on Elder and youth programs, language and heritage preservation and promotion, as well as helping support the establishment and promotion of the Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit Division and the first Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit Katimajiit, she gained a deep appreciation of northern culture and a passion to protect it. Her proudest accomplishment was being the communications lead for Our Land, Contemporary Art from the Arctic, the first exhibit of its kind to travel outside Canada. In 2006 Penny relocated to Calgary where she worked for The City of Calgary for twelve years in a number of roles including communications, human resources, learning and development, people and culture, organizational transformation and business strategy. In late 2017, Penny decided to shift career gears and moved into the consulting world and return to her love of working in the north.
Penny will be the lead for communications and strategic planning and design and event management.
