Lola Méndez is a full-time traveler and freelance journalist. She’s explored over 60 countries. Filatelista is the Spanish word for stamp collector. Her moniker is a play on words, as she’s collecting passport stamps. It’s also an homage to her grandfathers, one who was a lifelong voyager and true stamp collector, the other who was a postman.

Lola travels to develop her own worldview and understanding of the globe’s many cultures. Passionate about sustainable travel she seeks out ethical tourism experiences that benefit local communities.
