Safe Parking has three lots in the Metro area which are places where people who are living in their cars can come and spend the night safely. All Guests are screened and background checked before being matched with the Safe Lot. This is recruiting for the lot located in Golden, CO. The location is not publicized but will be shared with screened volunteers. Volunteers will work in pairs in two hour shifts (evenings and weekends) to assist guests with going itno the building to obtain food, clothing, use the bathroom, or shower. They may also help guests store their possessions in a tub in the garage so their car has room to sleep. Some volunteers are also needed to support guests as they work to obtain car registration or insurance or car repairs.
