I first worked as a researchscientist in biophysics from 1978 to 1990. From 1990 onwards, Iturned to the philosophy of physics, where I developed a neo-Kantianapproach. I edited texts by Erwin Schrödinger, and published booksin French about quantum mechanics for which I received an award fromthe Académie des Sciences Morales et Politiques . A fewyears ago, I focused on the relations between the philosophy ofquantum mechanics and the philosophy of mind and consciousness,working in close collaboration with Francisco Varela.
