About the American Society of Allergy NursesThe American Society of Allergy Nurses was formed in 1988. First starting as Oregon Society of Allergy Nurses 1988-1990, then Northwest Society of Allergy Nurses 1991-2011. The last name change was made at the end of 2011. Their goal is to provide continuing education for nurses, thus helping to insure high standards of practice and enhance the quality of care for allergy, asthma and immunology patients. Since then, yearly conferences have been held hosting a variety of speakers from around the country. The meetings have been held in Washington or Oregon with nurses from that particular state hosting the conference. This dynamic group of nurses encompasses participants from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Montana, Alaska and other states as far away as Virginia. Our Annual Conference (Cancelled for 2021) October 8-9, 2021 Virtual Conference (cancelled)Due to the small number of registrations the ASAN board is cancelling the conference for 2021We thank you for your interest in our virtual conference.  Unfortunately, there have not been enough registrations to cover our expenses for this conference.  It would have been our first virtual conference, but it is not feasible to have it this year.Please mark your calendar for an in- person conference, October 7-9, 2022, at The Seaside Convention Center on the Oregon Coast.  We look forward to a more normal year and another successful conference at this site.
