Welcome to the Mike Risko Music

The Mike Risko Music School, conveniently located in Ossining NY, offers private music lessons on piano, guitar, drums, voice, bass, strings, brass, and woodwinds. We also teach a variety of group classes like Rock and Jazz Band Workshops for adults, teens and kids and we have a unique Rock Star Vocal Training Program. In addition we offer our incredible Rock Band Summer Workshop Camp and our Intro to Piano program for Pre-K aged students. We also do children's birthday parties, provide live musical entertainment for all kinds of events and offer musical outreach programs within the community.

The Mike Risko Music School is owned by Mike and Miriam Risko who have created an environment where students of all ages and levels can study music and progress at their own pace. From the music maker to the virtuoso, there is a place for everyone. Students can choose from the private lesson program or the group class program. They can perform in a band, in a musical or they can enjoy a performance and be a part of the audience. All studentshave the opportunity to perform regularly in many different kinds of venues including in-house in the Risko Music "Rock Star Zone" and the "Performance Education Space". The Risko's school provides Westchester County with educated teachers who guide students of all ages throughtheir curriculum which guarantees success and enjoyment of music.

You can get started at the Mike Risko Music School by calling 914-762-8757. Students can register on line, on the phone or in person. We invite you in to meet us, take a tour of our school and learn all about how you can get started playing a musical instrument. During this complimentary consulation, prospective students can read all about our teachers and meet them. Be sure to browse our website and learn all about who we are and what we do. Join us for one of our events and check back here frequently to see what is going on.

In addition to our school, we also have a full line music store complete with music books and sheet music. We carry guitars and bass guitarslike Ibanez, Godin, PRSand Seagull. We also carry Fano Guitars and Two Rock Amps in addition to Tama Drums and a full line of brand new band instruments for rent and purchase. We offer instrument repair and service and we stock all musical accessories. We are open convenient hours and are easily accessible from all areas. What can I register for?Join us forprivate lessons and classes. We are now accepting registration for private lessons on all instruments and voice and a variety of group classes listed below!
