On 28th July 2021, the new UK Police Memorial was dedicated at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, in the presence of His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales.
This beautiful and iconic memorial honours the courage and sacrifice of members of the UK Police Service who have dedicated their lives to protecting all of us.

Since 1749 and the creation of the Bow Street Runners as the world first recognised police service, almost 5,000 men and women have given their lives to serve and protect our communities in the United Kingdom. The Memorial will be the first of its kind to bring together physical and digital elements that tell the stories of lives lost to UK policing.
Fundraising
Fundraising continues, to enable the completion of the digital memorial, an education experience for students and a living memorial fund to maintain the Memorial in perpetuity.
