Arirang Institute is proud to announce, in collaboration with the Super Sunday Football League (SSFL) and Zaicro, the creation of an International Football Diplomacy Team.

This section seeks to honor the tremendous support, inspiration, and charity of the individuals, who made Arirang Institute possible, and whom without we would not exist today.

Arirang Data Analyst Programme

The Arirang Institute Data Analyst Programme provides young professionals with an opportunity to work with some of world's most renowned cyber professionals, data engineers, journalists and foreign policy experts conducting research on today's most pressing security policy issues.The information age now demands young professionals acquire and harness open source tools in order to process, map, and understand overwhelming amounts of data. This programme aims to recruit, train, and deploy the next generation of Data Analysts for the security and stability of international order. Arirang Institute will pair teams of Data Analysts with seasoned professionals to guide open source research on both large structured and unstructured data sets. The Arirang Data Analyst Programme is open to all young professionals. Our fellows are unpaid and the hours and days are flexible. The work will be done remotely for the duration of the Arirang Institute Data Analyst Programme.

The Arirang Data Analyst Programme runs concurrently with the Fall 2021 Academic Semester.

As the field of automated text analysis, informational retrieval, and machine learning expand into the humanities and social sciences the necessity to digitize the overwhelming amount of historical text is extremely burdensome. However, we believe, despite the tedious and arduous task of digitizing over 700,000 documents, the benefit to the academic community, as well as the preservation of culture and history to be a meaningful and priceless endeavor. ARIRANG FOOTBALL

On Saturday January 16th, 2016 at 누리마음연구소 Arirang Institute, in cooperation with Zaicro and the Seoul Super Sunday Footbal League (SSFL), is proud to announce the creation of a Diplomacy Football Team. The Diplomacy Football Team will be composed of players from various nations and cultures and will seek to strengthen ties in East Asia through the love of Football.

"Our squad will comprise of players from different backgrounds and cultures. That is the beauty of sport: it brings people together, all with the same goal of winning. This is a great opportunity to help foster relationships between Koreans from across the Peninsula and people from all over the world."

Mr. Chang Young Choi is the President of the Football apparel company Zaicro. Zaicro is a Korean company which not only supports our Football Diplomacy Team, but also the Korean National Football Team, FC Anyang, a Professional Korean Team, the MBC Team and they even support football programs for youngsters in Africa.A special thanks to Mr. Chang Young Choi and all the great people at Zaicro. We our honored and blessed to be able to embark on such a meaningful endeavor together!

ARIRANG READERS

ARIRANG READERS is an English Reading initiative, made possible by the tremendous support of Kid's English.Arirang Readers provides a digital library of 200,000+ English books and coursework for our North Korean refugee friends across the Korean peninsula. The initiative seeks to deliver the necessary resources and support for English learners, from Elementary School through High School and beyond.

We currently provide services for 2,000 students, ranging from beginner, to advanced with access to an online digital library, at no cost to our Arirang Readers.

There is always room for more kind hearts, volunteers, and pro active humanitarians looking to improve the lives of our Arirang Readers. Please register your organization below so we can provide you with access to our elibrary database.
