CLST-GSWS 4th Annual Student SymposiumLearn More The winning essay submitted for the GSWS Undergraduate Paper Prize this year is "Hustlin' and Bustlin' in the 70s: Alison Hnatow, a double major in GSWS and Politics and Philosophy, has been awarded a Brackenridge Fellowship this summer to study Anne with an E, the 2017 Netflix and CBC adaption of L.M. Montgomery's novel Anne of Green Gables.Like the novel, the series presentsa coming-of-age story that focuses on gender roles, societal and community integration, and interpersonal relationships.
