Subject: New product: Mesoscale Eddy Trajectory Atlas CRM:00204681Date: Tue, 4 Jul 2017 10:14:22 +0200From: AVISO To: Users of the Mesoscale Eddy DatasetDear Users,We are proud to announce the release of a new AVISO+ dataset, the "Mesoscale Eddy Trajectory Atlas" product.This dataset was developed and validated in collaboration with D.Chelton and M. Schlax at Oregon State University. The SSALTO/DUACS team is now running the routine product generation and distribution formerly carried out by OSU.This dataset includes the tracks of eddies detected and monitored in the multimission "2-satellite" delayed-time DUACS products with additional information such as speed, radius, or eddy type (cyclonic/anticyclonic). The file format used is derived from the NetCDF formerly used by OSU.
