Our Mission It is the mission of the YMCA of York and York County to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. We exist to develop and practice the principles of faith, hope, love, honesty, respect and responsibility.Diversity, Inclusion, and Global (DIG) statement The YMCA of York County is for all.  Because we believe that every person is important, we strive to foster a diverse and global culture in our Association which is inclusive and accessible to all people.  Because we are for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, we seek to build community by reaching out to welcome people of every identity, background, and belief.The YMCA of York and York County is a 501(C)(3) Non-Profit Organization. Donations are tax-exempt. Starting 12/12/2020, in compliance with the Governor’s orders, we will be making changes to our services.We know that these times are pushing us all to the limit so we ask that everyone in our Y family first take care of themselves and their loved ones, but, if able, continue to be there for all the people served at the YMCA by referring anyone in need to our services.
