After 20 years as the NSW Aquaculture Association Incorporated we have started the brand new Aqua Association Incorporated and hope to continue on for another 20 years under our new name.Most of the large commercial operators around today, started as enthusiasts, then hobbyists, then started small family business at home and slowly over time grew into the commercial operations they have today. The Aqua Association is here to help you in your personal aquaculture and aquaponic endeavours. We are here to help you grow.The Aqua Association Inc. is a peak industry body that represents and supports the land-based aquaculture aquaponic industry. Our commitment to the success of our members is evidenced by supporting the aquaculture industry for the last 30 years.Australian commercial aquaculture, is the fastest growing primary industry in Australia, but also home aquaculture for private use is a huge component of our members. Growing fish and yabbies in private farm dams, aquaponics in the backyard or garage and aquarium breeding are all activities that are increasingly popular.The Aqua Association provides; representation, support, information and a platform for communication between all its members that include commercial producers, hobbyists, educators, suppliers, researchers and all those interested in our industry.Membership is available to all that want to work together towards the betterment of the Australian Aquaculture Industry.
