This includes students who are at risk of exclusion or have already been temporarily or permanently excluded.We are an independent company who work across the UK. In most cases, we are paid by the Local Authority for our service.If you child is out of education for any reason, and you feel that we might be able to support them in the interim period, please speak to your contact within your child s school or local authority. You can pass our website details and phone number to them and ask them to contact us for more information. You can also contact our referrals team for more information if you have any questions. Enjoying Learning We will initially come to your home to meet you and your child, and talk through how best to engage with their interests and abilities.One or more of our staff will be assigned to work with your child. They are teachers or mentors, who are particularly skilled in working with students who have problems with their education.Working with your child in a way that they will enjoy is important to us, as we re sure it is to you. The reason we are commissioned by Local Authorities and Schools, is to help get your child into a place where they feel confident to learn, so that they can do well and reach their full potential in life.We do understand that they may have had a difficult time in school and with learning generally, and we are not just going to provide more of the same. With your support, together, we can help them succeed.Working with Fresh Start in Education will be the beginning of a new chapter in your child s life. We will do everything we can to help them. Here s a little bit about who we are and what we do.We are an independent Company set up in 2011, to work with students of any age who are finding it hard to get on in school.If your school or parents/carers think you need some extra help, one of our team can be called in to meet with you regularly.We have amazing staff. They have all worked with children and young people in all kinds of situations, and they are very good at making hard work seem easier. Interim Re-engagement Programmes for Students out of Education - Nationwide Fresh Start in Education Ltd work with children and young people who are out of, or struggling with, education. This includes students who are at risk of exclusion, have already been temporarily or permanently excluded, school refusers, young offenders, those with emotional or behavioural difficulties, SEN, SEMH, serious health issues and those who are generally disengaged from education. We work with all ages from Early Years Foundation through to 18 and beyond, with or without an EHC Plan. Our purpose is to return students to specialist or main stream education, as soon as is practical. We deliver person-centred, bespoke, high quality education, ensuring that students have outstanding opportunities to re-integrate. We provide the encouragement and tools for students to develop and apply the knowledge, skills and understanding, that will enable them to become successful at learning, confident as individuals and to live productive and responsible lives. Covering the whole of the UK.
