OUR WORK

Our House provides integrated health and housing services to people with HIV. Guided by compassion, collaboration, and respect,

we provide 24-hour specialized care, supportive services,

and independent housing with support services.

ABOUT US

With the help of amazing staff, dedicated volunteers, and exceptional supporters, Our House of Portland provides healthcare, housing, and other vital services to people in need in our community living with HIV.

Our House has been part of the Portland community since 1988. Our services have expanded, but our commitment to people living with HIV has remained the same. HIV is a complex and challenging disease that can often be overwhelming.

In 2022, Our House officially merged with Cascade AIDS Project (CAP), to further expand its service offerings and provide greater wraparound care for our clients!

OUR SERVICES

Through these four programs, as the health of our residents and clients improves or declines, we are able to provide personalized services within our continuum of care.

Our House, our residential care facility, engages a team of expert clinicians who work with people with HIV who are having difficulty managing independent living. By tailoringtherapeuticeveryday

activities,nursing, and social work services our clients and residents are able to define what “living well” means to them.

Our Neighborhood Housing and Care Programprovides social work services, and nursing,for people in their ownhomes, providing support so that our clientscan live independently as long as possible.

Esther’s Pantry, Oregon’s first LGBTQ+ affirming shopping style food pantry, provides food and personal care items for individuals and families impacted by HIV.

Tod’s Corner provides free clothing and household goods for clients living with HIV.
