Water and wastewater planning and development Working with communities to prepare for growth through the continuous development and sale of regional raw water supplies. Water Treatment and Distribution Providing more than 40 million gallons of high-quality, reliable water per day to utilities throughout the Guadalupe River Basin. Wastewater collection and treatment Serving more than 8,300 customers with the capacity to treat 7.5 million gallons of wastewater per day. Recreation Managing and maintaining four multi-purpose recreational areas across South Texas for public enjoyment. Education Increasing awareness and appreciation of water and natural resources in the Guadalupe River Basin, and GBRA’s stewardship, protection, conservation and reclamation of these resources. Laboratory Services Providing accredited laboratory services to the public to ensure compliance with federal, state and local water quality regulations and requirements. WATER/WASTEWATER TREATMENT

GBRA has spent the past eight decades planning, developing and implementing water resources strategies to meet the needs of the communities thriving in its service area. Today, more than 350,000 citizens benefit daily from GBRA’s water and wastewater operations via 10 waters systems and 14 wastewater systems.
