Welcome to the website dedicated to Leon Wyczółkowski This service, prepared by the Leon Wyczółkowski Regional Museum in Bydgoszcz, presents artistic achievements of Leon Wyczółkowski. It shows all works that are in the possession of our Museum. In the future, we plan expansion of the Wortal by the works that are featured in other Museums as well as private collections. We are happy to announce, that website www.wyczolkowski.pl was awarded in the Museum Event of the Year competition - Sybilla 2013, in category "Digitalization and new technologies".
Sybilla is the most prestigous award for museums in Poland. Competition for Sybilla - Minister of Culture and National Heritage Award is organised by National Insutitute for Museums and Public Collections.
Celebratory gala and presenting awards was held on 14th of May 2014 in Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów.
Leon Wyczółkowski’s collection, preserved to this day in the National Museum of Poznań, comprises primarily artistic handicrafts such as Eastern fabrics, ceramic objects, furniture, bronze exhibits, as well as an extensive collection of graphic art, including colorful Japanese woodcut and the artist’s own works.
