Aging Brain Health: Optimizing Cognitive Behavioural Function in Disorders of the Aging Brain

Public Panel Discussion: Innovation and Technology in Dementia Care Tuesday, March 23, 6 7 p.m.

The pandemic has disproportionately impacted older adults, including those with dementia, with increased social isolation, decreased access to in-person care and a growing reliance on technology. In this public panel, experts from around the world will bring their unique perspectives to discuss how the current health crisis has accelerated the development and adoption of innovations. They will examine how different technologies, such as robotics, artificial intelligence and virtual care, can enhance the experience of aging for all both during the pandemic and beyond, as well as how technologies need to be balanced with the human element to ensure older adults everywhere are healthy, happy and thriving in residential care and at home.
