Welcome to Gloucestershire Association of Secondary Headteachers. We are a thriving association which includes the headteachers from each of the state funded secondary schools in Gloucestershire, including special schools and alternative provision with children of secondary age.

The association operates in order to ensure the best possible provision for young people in the countys secondary schools through mutual support between colleagues, effective partnership with the Local Authority, the D of E and other agencies and a clear focus on supporting the professional development of teachers from initial teacher training students through to experienced headteachers.

Gloucestershire Association of Secondary Headteachers is a thriving partnership which includes the headteachers and principals of all the state funded schools in Gloucestershire with pupils of secondary school age.

The association aims to ensure the best possible provision for young people in the county’s secondary schools through mutual support, effective partnerships and a clear focus on the professional development of teachers.

Gloucestershire Association of Secondary Headteachers has its own business. GASH Ltd includes Adfecto, which provides professional development and support for schools, and supports Gloucestershire Initial Teacher Education Partnership (GITEP) SCITT which recruits and trains teachers for partnership schools.
