Who Am I?

My name is Ashley Tomasko and I’m a marketing professional with a passion for design. I work one-on-one with small business owners looking to solve their marketing problems through effective marketing material and web design.

What Services Do I Offer?

I provide a range of services including graphic design, web design, e-mail marketing and website maintenance. I typically work with small businesses who don’t require a full-time designer on staff, but still need professional marketing materials or someone to manage their website updates.

How Do I Operate?

My clients and their needs vary greatly and I pride myself on being flexible to meet those needs. Some clients pay me hourly, some on a monthly retainer, and others on a project-based cost. I might do a website redesign for a client, train them on how to make future updates and send them off. Other clients have me on “stand-by” and will reach out via e-mail anytime they need something designed or need a change made to their website.

What is Working with Me Like?

I approach each project with the goal of keeping everything as hassle-free for the client as possible. Small business owners wear many hats, and I understand that most of you don’t have the time to micromanage yet another person. I ask questions up-front and communicate along the design process as needed. I love building long-lasting relationships with my clients and really enjoy seeing their business grow over the years – it makes my work that much more rewarding!

What Do I Do for Fun?

Music
When I’m not behind a computer screen, you’ll likely find me planning the next concert I’m going to attend. I’m a HUGE music lover, everything from 90’s alternative and grunge to punk-rock to country/folk. When I’m not planning my next music festival, I’m probably watching a local cover/tribute band on the weekend.

Outdoors
I love the outdoors – hiking, running, camping, bonfires, four-wheeling, biking, etc. My biggest bucket list item is to eventually visit every National Park.

My approach to design goes beyond just beautiful aesthetics. My background in marketing forces me to analyze all projects from both a business and consumer standpoint. From a business perspective, everything should serve a purpose. I’ll help you get clear about the goals of your marketing materials and I won’t sell you on web features you don’t need. From a consumer perspective, everything should be functional and have clear calls-to-action.

NETWORK OF FREELANCERS

Since I’ve started my business in 2015, I’ve met some of the most talented freelancers in the area that are INCREDIBLE at what they do. If your project is out of my scope, chances are I know someone we can bring in on the project, or that I can refer you to entirely. Need professional photography? I know photographers and videographers. Looking to improve your SEO? I know an SEO and content strategist. If I don’t know someone, I probably know someone who knows someone.

FIRST-NAME BASIS

When you work with me, we’ll be working on a first-name basis. You won’t be getting an automated message that says someone from a customer service team will be in touch within 48 hours. I don’t require mounds of paperwork and contracts and multiple phone calls and Skype meetings to tackle a simple design task. As a fellow small business owner, I understand that your time in a day is critical. I do my best to make things as simple as possible.
